DIAGNOSIS

PROVEN RESULTS

While our process & technology provide a
great foundation, understanding that your
Chronic Pain can be healed without
surgery or drugs matters most.

MEET JULIE

Just about everyone feels pain from time to time. When you cut your finger or pull a muscle, pain is your body’s way of telling you something is wrong. Once the injury heals, you stop hurting.

Chronic pain is different. Your body keeps hurting weeks, months, or even years after the initial injury. Doctors often define chronic pain as any pain that lasts for 3 to 6 months or more.

Chronic pain can have real effects on your day-to-day life. The feeling of pain comes from a series of messages that zip through your nervous system. When you hurt yourself, the injury turns on pain sensors in that area. Your brain processes the signal and sends out the message that you hurt.

Usually, the signal stops when the cause of the pain is resolved — your body repairs the wound on your finger or your torn muscle. But with chronic pain, the nerve signals keep firing even after you’ve healed.

DIAGNOSES LIST

Herniated Disc

Similar to the Bulging Disc, Herniated Disc is also one of the most common incomplete diagnoses of back and neck pain. It is also commonly incorrectly blamed for causing sciatica. Scientific studies have shown that Herniated Disc is responsible for pain in less than 3% of cases. 2 of 3 people that have never had pain have Herniated Disc(s) and/or Bulging Discs.

Bulging Disc

Bulging Disc is one of the most common incomplete diagnoses of pain. Incomplete because the science has demonstrated that while a bulging disc may be present, it is almost never the cause of pain. 2 of 3 people that have never experienced pain have bulging and/or herniated discs.

Fibromyalgia

The diagnosis of fibromyalgia is both harrowing for the patient and comes with more incorrect advice than any other pain diagnosis. Patients are often told that the pain and other symptoms such as fibro fog and exhaustion are permanent and there is no “fix.” We have seen tremendous and often permanent relief using the Zero Pain Now® process with this diagnosis.

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal Stenosis is perhaps the most common incorrect diagnosis in the paradigm of chronic pain. The incorrect theory is that a narrowing of the spaces within your spine places pressure on nerves causing often intense pain. This is almost never the case because it would take a tremendous narrowing to actually case the pain. Also, the pressure would starve the nerve of oxygen causing the nerve to “die” in approximately 2 weeks and the pain would cease.

Sciatica

Sciatica is a label for pain radiating along the sciatic nerve. The nerve branches from the lower back down past the buttocks and down the legs. The symptoms are often incorrectly blamed on a spinal abnormality such as a herniated disc or bulging disc. This is almost never the actual cause of the pain, tingling, burning etc.

Whiplash

Whiplash is thought to be a forceful back and forth movement that is usually incorrectly blamed for pain, stiffness and headaches. While it is not uncommon to have these symptoms after a jarring incident. However, the fact is that the symptoms will disappear within approximately 2 weeks. Anything lasting longer is not whiplash and has a different cause.

Degenerative Disc Disease

Degenerative Disc Disease is one of the most misunderstood and incorrect diagnoses of pain. The science has proven that DDD is almost never the cause of pain and other symptoms. It is common in 2 of 3 people that have never has symptoms.

Neuropathy

Neuropathy is a condition thought to affect nerves causing pain, tingling, burning, numbness and/or weakness. All of these symptoms are most likely a result of Diversion Pain Syndrome, a psycho-physical syndrome that affects muscles, nerves and tendons.

Tendonitis

Tendonitis is an inflammation or irritation of the tendon. It is not a cause of pain and other symptoms. The inflammation or irritation are the result of a rapidly reversible process that originates in the brain.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is an incorrect label describing a compression of the median nerve as it travels through the wrist. The symptoms are often incorrectly blamed on repetitive use. The latest science and neuroscience have shown this to be untrue.

TMJ

TMJ, is considered a type of temporomandibular disorder or TMD. It is blamed for jaw pain and other symptoms. TMJ is considered the lower back pain of dentistry and most of the time  they actually share the same cause, and the same method to eliminate the symptoms.

Spondylosis

Spondylosis, like Fibromyalgia is an umbrella term used to describe symptoms blamed on degeneration of the spine. The symptoms are incompletely and inaccurately blamed on structural abnormalities. Spondylosis symptoms can often be eliminated rapidly and safely.

Spondylitis

Spondylosis and Spondylolisthesis have different official diagnoses but actually share the same cause.

Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar Fasciitis is inflammation that is believed to cause foot (especially heel) pain. The inflammation is the result of a psycho-physical syndrome and is PF is not the cause of anything. Symptom eradication is often swift.

Torn Rotator Cuff

A torn rotator cuff generally occurs when a tendon is torn away from the bone. Other parts of the rotator cuff may be involved. Studies have shown that light to medium tears are rarely the cause of pain.

Torn Meniscus

Meniscus tears can happen during a rotating movement. The torn meniscus is one of the most common diagnoses for knee pain. However, in most cases the tear is not responsible for symptoms.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis (different from Rheumatoid) occurs when protective cartilage wears down. Many scientific studies have shown that even when osteoarthritis is apparent, it does not cause symptoms.

Undiagnosed

Undiagnosed pain is often the most frustrating and difficult to understand. The pain and other symptoms are real. However, there is nothing structural or physiological that is causing the pain. These symptoms almost always are successfully eliminated using the process.
